Well I've been doing this thing where I'm taking turns letting my nieces and nephews spend a night with us, instead of having all three at once (which is what I used to do, but having all 3 of them, plus my 2= 5 kids in the house, which = CHAOS!) Last weekend was my nephew, Nate's turn. Surprisingly, he had a great time. I thought he'd be bored playing with Avery, but they always found something to do! They either played video games, or played with Nerf guns together, watched TV or played catch. They always found something to do! (Brayden spent the night with Nate's sisters- my nieces, which he loved! Anyone that knows Brayden knows he loves the girly stuff!)
Tonight, Avery got her haircut. She goes to the same stylist as I do, and after Bri cut Avery's hair, she asked Avery if she wanted her hair styled. Avery said, "Sure". So, Bri styled it like this. I think it's adorable, and Avery absolutely LOVED it! She wants me to do it like that for Easter. Guess I should have been paying closer attention to HOW Bri was styling it!

FUNNY KID STORY: Later on after the haircut, Avery went along with me to take Brayden to his swimming lesson. We stay there while he has his lesson because it's only a 1/2 hour. While we were sitting there, Avery says to me "Why do people bring their babies to swimming lessons? They're too little." I try to explain to her that actually "they" say that babies can learn to swim...maybe even easier than older kids. Avery says to me, "Where'd you read that? The 'Weekly World Dum Dum'?" I about died laughing!! Of course, if you've seen the movie "Baby Mama", this is a line from that movie. I just can't believe she remembered it, and actually used it on me!! Little stinker!!
