Soccer update

Well, there are only 2 more practices and two more soccer games for Avery this season. Last night, the Washington Elementary School Soccer Program was invited to the Heidelberg College women's soccer game against Defiance. The kids got to play a "mini game" during half time. It was so cool to be in that HUGE stadium on their new field. Very impressive! I know Avery certainly was impressed and had a great time! Sorry the pics are not the greatest. Like I said, the field was HUGE, and my camera doesn't have the best zoom! That's one for my wish list...a new digital camera with a better zoom. Seems like I'm always trying to take pictures from far away. Anyway, you get the idea!

Avery's First Soccer Game!

Avery had her first soccer game today. For never playing soccer before, and only having one practice prior to the game, she did a lot better than I thought she would. Her team didn't win :O( But, they did have fun! That's all that matters!!

Noelle's Birthday Party

My mom had a small birthday party for my niece, Noelle, today. We had pizza and cake. My mom got her a new comforter for her bed, and she had been bugging me for her own Nintendogs game for her Nintendo DS. She always plays my daughter's when she comes over and really wanted it bad. So, we got it for her. She peaked in her gift bag, and to "punish her", we took the game out of the gift bag when she wasn't looking and put something else in there and one dollar. Let's just say she was speechless when she opened it! We got her good! You could tell she was thinking "...but I saw the game in there earlier"! Then, we pulled it out of my purse where we had hidden it and gave it to her! She was so happy. She immediately started playing it. Now, her sister wants her own Nintendogs game, too! They love that game so much!

Soccer Practice!

Avery had her first soccer practice on Tuesday night! Here she is in all her soccer gear! Doesn't she look so cute?? She had a great time! She is so pumped up about soccer, and I'm glad she's interested in participating in sports.

Brayden's 1st day of Preschool!

Brayden's first day of preschool was today. It went VERY well! He wasn't scared at all. There was a little girl there who was BAWLING when I dropped Brayden off. He just stared at her, like he was thinking "What the heck is wrong with that girl??" When I talked to him on the phone during my break at work, I asked him how it went, and he said "Good. We ate snacks. We played. And, we singed songs". The teachers sometimes send little notes home. Take a look at this one! What a good boy!
